In order to continuously enhance employees' skill levels and foster a strong atmosphere of "emulation, learning, surpassing, and excellence," Southern Communications Group successfully held two high-quality skill competitions in May and June. These events fully demonstrated the solid expertise and craftsmanship spirit of the Group's frontline technical talents.
May Equipment Maintenance Competition
Focused on core equipment maintenance capabilities, the competition took place in the Yingke Maintenance Workshop for all maintenance staff. It included a theoretical assessment and two practical segments: fitting (part sawing) and electrical (troubleshooting), with a continuous emphasis on safety protocols.
June Cable Formation Competition
Based on key cable formation processes, cable formation employees competed in Yingke Cable Formation Workshop 4. Guided by principles of fairness and impartiality, the competition rigorously evaluated operational speed and quality through a structured process that included welding, sampling, and testing.
Both competitions adopted a comprehensive evaluation model integrating "theory + practice + safety," providing employees with a valuable platform to hone their skills and showcase their talents. Through these contests, employees' technical proficiency was effectively assessed, safety awareness was strengthened, and intrinsic motivation was ignited—inspiring all staff to excel in their posts, refine their skills, and pursue excellence. This initiative has solidified a robust talent foundation for the high-quality development of the Group.
